There are many old stupas and ruins of monasteries in the area. Sarnath not only offers a serene environment for meditation and self-reflection, but it also serves as a pilgrimage site for Buddhists who seek to connect with the teachings of Lord Buddha.

Flavourful Food: Varanasi is well-known for its delicious street food, which you can find all over the city. The famous drink in the holy city of Varanasi, called “bhang ki lassi,” has always been a big part of what makes this place what it is. Malaiyyo is another sweet Banaras is known for that you can get only in the winter season.

Stunning Silk: The city is also known for its delicately crafted Banarasi saris and renowned weavers. Varanasi is known for its silks and brocades with gold and silver thread work. The silk saris made in this city are known all over the world. It is a big part of the culture of Varanasi.
